Becoming a KITCenter Partner

The KITCenter needs B&I involvement and support around the state. Support and involvement will include but need not be limited to:

  • Internships for KCTCS IT students, leading to permanent jobs for IT students
  • Loan of IT experts to teach credit IT classes as adjunct faculty
  • Supplies and equipment needed for IT laboratories
  • Assist with design and set-up of IT laboratories and facilities
  • Tax-deductable donation of equipment and supplies needed by IT faculty for development and implementation of curriculum components
  • Tax-deductable donation of equipment needed for set-up and maintenance of the Physical andMobile Centers
  • Support for workshops for IT faculty and high school teachers—for example, supply books and software needed for a workshop, supply lunch and/or snacks for workshop participants, or door prizes in the form of IT related products.
